Remembrance Day

On Sunday, November 11th, St Lawrence State School will hold the towns memorial service for Remembrance Day.

This year is a special occasion - it is the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1. This war changed the world we live in. It has impacted so many people across the globe and today, many if not most of us can link our families to soldiers who bravely fought for our freedoms. This is a day to remember them and the sacrifices they made.

To mark this occasion, St Lawrence P&C with the support of Federal Member of Parliament, Michelle Landry, have erected a memorial wall that truly pays its respects for our brave soldiers.

Our service on Sunday begins at 10.30am. If you wish to come earlier, morning tea will be provided. This will be followed by lunch that will be provided by the Isaac Regional Council.
